B. DETAILED SUMMARY OF AIR RAID DAMAGE IN THE PERIOD 14TH-21ST OCTOBER 1942. I. HOMELESS. A rest centre was opened at Colchester on 19th October as a result of H.E. bombs being dropped. IV. HOUSE PROPERTY. Preliminary estimates supplied by the Ministry of Health Regional Offices indicate that during the week ended 17th October, 1942, damage to house property in England and Wales was as follows:- England and Wales.
