B. DETAILED SUMMARY OF AIR RAID DAMAGE IN THE PERIOD 29TH JULY TO 5TH AUGUST, 1942. I. HOMELESS. At Norwich on 2nd August 500 people were rendered homeless and were accommodated in 8 rest centres. The raid during the early hours of 28th July, details of which had not been received at the time of issue of last week's report, resulted in the following rest centres being opened:- At Oldbury 4 rest centres were opened, two of which were closed the same day.
