No damage during the week was reported in the London Civil Defence Region, or in Scotland. V. FOOD. At Canterbury on the 31st May/1st June 5 retailers' shops, 1 butcher, 1 small dairy, 2 small and one large bakery were destroyed, and one Cold Store was damaged. The Food Office was completely wrecked and 2 Emergency Meals Centres were demolished. Otherwise no damage of any importance to food interests has been reported during the week. VII. RAILWAYS. Both lines between Woolston and Sholing (near Southampton) were damaged by H.
