VIII. OTHER COMMUNICATIONS. Ports. It was reported on 31st March that 3 H.E.'s were dropped in Brixham Harbour, damaging a coal hulk. Roads. In a raid on Dover on the night of 23rd March, the East Kent Road Car Company's Garage was demolished. Five double-decker buses and 1 lorry were damaged. The Company's services were not affected. Post Office Services. The Sorting Office and Garage roof at Dover and three sub-offices in the Weymouth area sustained minor damage. A sub-office at Truro was closed for an hour on the 19th March as a precautionary measure during the removal of an unexploded bomb dropped 12 months ago.
