THIRTY-THIRD WEEKLY SUMMARY. A. AIR RAID DAMAGE 7TH TO 14TH MAY, 1941. BRIEF ANALYSIS OF MAIN POINTS. (For details see below). I. HOMELESS. Approximately 12,000 homeless in London. 60-65,000 in rest centres in Liverpool and Bootle, of which 43,000 represent the nightly exodus. Position now much easier both there and at Plymouth. 17,000 homeless at Greenock most of whom have been billeted. II. WATER SUPPLY. Considerable damage to mains in London, Merseyside, Bristol, Hull, Nottingham, Middlesbrough and Greenock.
