On the second question, the Mission do not consider it would b practicable to increase deliveries of indigenous grain beyond the figure alread estimated by the Control Commission, i.e., 133,000 tons a month up to the en of July 1946 (on which their recommended import programme is based). Thi figure might not be realised. in which event a corresponding increase in import would be required later in the season. 6. There remains the third question about the allegations of smugglin and black market activities.
