IV. COMMODITY SUPPLY POSITION Energy Foods (Carbohydrates) Wheat imports in August continued at a high level, and bulk stocks increased by some 160 thousand tons during the month. Imports during September/November will be considerably less than in recent months, and the maintenance of the present stock level during that period will depend on the volume of deliveries from the home crop. Wheat and Flour (i) (ii) Bulk stocks of flour at end-August stood at no more than 266 thousand tons, as compared with the required minimum of 400 thousand tons.
