(45) 141 COPY NO. 18TH AUGUST, 1945 CABINET LORD PRESIDENT'S COMMITTEE MEDICAL CONTROL AT AIRPORTS Memorandum by the Secretary of State for Scotland 1. In view of the proposals for the post-war development of civil international air traffic, statutory authority will be required to make regulations for the medical control of persons arriving at or leaving Scottish airports. This will be necessary to comply with International Sanitary Conventions of 1933 and 1944 for Aerial Navigation which the British Government have accepted.
