The Imperial -2- Tobacco Company went as many as possible of the women to be former skilled employees. The man can probably be found by ordinary means, but the maximum number of women which is likely to be provided on first preference is 200; the remaining 440 women will have to be found by special withdrawals from other firms in the area. The principal firms in the area employ altogether 12,000 women. 8,800 are employed by the Bristol Aeroplane Company and Parnall Aircraft, and the balance by J .
