2 Committee could meet daily. for so long as was required, to decide which of the measures noted in the ('ease Fire (Europe) Book should be put into operation; to consider whether any of these questions had assumed such importance as to require reference to Ministers; and to deal with a number of points of detail which cannot be foreseen in advance but. will call for concerted action between Departments. 5. l invite the (Committee to agree— (a) That the points set out in the Appendix to this Memorandum should, if possible, be covered in any general message broadcast to the people immediately after the end of hostilities in Europe.
