STIC OYMENT vious erence: (44) ### ting, ###te 4) 1. The Committee had before them a memorandum by the Minister of Labour and National Service (L.P. (45) 166) submitting proposals for the post-war organisation of private domestic employment based on the Report by Miss Markham and Miss Hancock (Cmd. 6650). THE MINISTER OF LABOUR explained that the posal was for the establishment of a National Institute of House-workers for the purpose of increasing the supply of trained domestic workers and raising the status of the profession.
