1. The Committee had before them:- (i) a note by the Lord President of the Council (L.P.(45) 88)covering a report on factory and storage accommodation by Sir Findlater Stewart; (ii) a memorandum by the Lord President of the Council (L.P.(45) 89) focussing some of the main issues arising from Sir Findlater Stewart's Report; (iii) a memorandum by the Minister of Works (L.P.(45) 85) regarding the provision of storage accommodation for housing components. SIR FINDLATER STEWART explained that in preparing his Report he had found it desirable to cover a wider field than had perhaps been contemplated by the Committee at their meeting on 19th January.
