STORAGE REVIEW Memorandum by the Ministry of Production in association with the Board of Trade 1. Terms of Reference and Introduction The Lord President's Committee at their meeting on 22nd September, 1944 (L.P.(44) 45th Meeting, Conclusion 3(1)) agreed: "That the Ministry of Production, in consultation with the other Departments concerned, should carry out, as a matter of urgency, a comprehensive review of the use of storage accommodation by Government Departments with a view to ensuring that stores were not being retained unnecessarily and that covered storage space was being used only for those types of stores which could not be stored in the open without serious deterioration.
