FACTORY ACCOMMODATION. Memorandum by the Minister of Production.

3 May 1944

the general scheme already agreed to is to be done in Norther### Ireland, it will have to be done as part of that scheme. 5. There has been comparatively little war time factory building in Northern Ireland where, however, there is labour available both for building and operating new factories. The greater part of the building materials required are available locally and present indications are that it will be possible to authorise the acquisition of the remainder from the general allocations for building made to the Ministry of Commerce.
