-2- (d) The "Militant Scottish Miner" in its March, 1943, edition extols strikes and condemns Parliamentary and Trade Union Leaders who denounce strikes. stoppage in Yorkshire there has been some of the Fourth International (Militant Socialists). I believe you have had a report from the Chief Constable, in which he explains the difficulty of taking any action against those people. This I understand, but I feel I should point out that propaganda of this type during stoppages can only have a bad effect, even though that effect is limited to a minority of the men.
