THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF TRADE recalled that at their meeting on 21st April (L.P.(44) 20th Meeting, Minute 2), when the Committee had considered the drafts of the Declaration of Policy and the Procedural Supplement negotiated by Sir Samuel Beale, they had agreed that an attempt should be made to secure clarifying amendments in these documents.
