C###L (Previous Reference: ###.P. (44) 6th Meeting, Minute 3) THE COMMITTEE had before them a Memorandum by the Minister of Fuel and Power (L.P. (44) 34) to which was attached a statement of the proposals for a personal attendance bonus which the two sides of the mining industry had agreed to submit for the Government's approval. The proposals provided for the payment to all workers of a personal attendance bonus of 2/6d. for the fifth shift worked, 2/6d. for the sixth shift worked, and 1/- for each additional shift.
