5. 6. 7. -2- The Undertakings have to a large extent been bearing these extra costs without increasing prices and will continue as far as possible to do so because they are very sensible of the fa###t that a high price of gas will hamper them considerably in thei### competition with electricity especially in the post-war period Electricity undertakings other than those in heavily bombed or evacuated areas have, in general, not found it necessary to rase electricity charges to domestic consumers to any appreciable extent.
