I am in agreement with the Secretary of State for Scotland in considering that the proposals of the Minister of Labour and National Service for changes in Unemployment Insurance benefits, contributions and remuneration limit involve as a corollary substantial improvements in the rates of sickness benefit including provision for dependants.
