The removal of the visitors' ban and the increased facilities for sea bathing on many beaches are instances which have be greatly appreciated, though the recent imposition of military restrictions on the south coast has greatly reduced the areas open to visitors. While the positive steps that we can take are limited, there is one negative step which is important. It is obvious that the public has made up its mind about holidays and has decided, whatever the Government may say, that it needs them and is going to have them.
