2. The A.T.A. was founded on a uniform basis and uniform was issued categories 1,2,5 and part of 4 overleaf. When rationing of clothing Trade were asked to sanction continuance of the issue an the Board of although they did this in the first instance (subject to certain exce### tions in category 4 on which no conclusive decision was reached) they ruled that as from August next, uniforms should only be worn by categ 1 and 2. It is agreed that category 3 should remain in civilian cl### but for the reasons stated below it is considered essential that cate### 4 and 5 should be issued with uniform.
