THE MINISTER OF PRODUCTION: UNIFORMS FOR PART-TIME CIVIL DEFENCE AND NATIONAL FIRE SERVICE WORKERS During the course of the review conducted earlier in the * year, the Board of Trade expressed ###cern at the large increase in the issues of civilian forms which have recently taken place. At their instance ###pproached the Minister of Home Security on the question ther, in view of present shortages of material and manpower the difficulty of maintaining the essential minimum plies of civilian clothing, some relief could not be ###ured by modifying the scales or terms of issue of uniforms part-time Civil Defence and National Fire Service workers.
