CONCENTRATION OF GOVERNMENT BUILDING Report by the Treasury 1. In accordance with the decision of the 31st meeting of the Committee, the Treasury have explored, in conjunction with the Service Departments, the extent to which those Departments could transfer to the Ministry of works responsibility for a larger proportion of their building programmes. 2. The Service Departments have already transferred to the Ministry of Works an appreciable amount of the building work for which they were formerly responsible.
