the 17th Meeting of that Committee held on 19th March, 1943, and the information submitted to the Sub-Committee by the several Departments concerned. (b) The amended text to become Part I of the extended White Paper; and (c) A Part II be prepared embodying the Government's observations on the matters raised in the White Paper, including proposals for the remedial action found to be required now or in the immediate post-war period. 4. The White Paper has been revised accordingly, and I now submit to the consideration of my colleagues:(1) the amended proof copy of the original White Paper (Annex B); and (2) a Second Part of the White Paper as approved by the Committee embodying the Government's observations in accordance with the later portion of the Committee's Terms of Reference (Annex C).
