Explanations have been made of these increases, and they have been analysed (i) The Ministry and fully discussed with the Treasury. Summrized, the Departmental explanations are as set out below:- of Supply point out that, over the period in question, the total labour force available to the Ministry (taking together directly and indirectly employed labour), was continually increasing, and new projects were constantly coming forward.
