III. LEND/LEASE SUPPLIES. Arrivals of Lend-Lease supplies of U.S. origin to the U.K. increased further in March to 112 thousand net tons. Sailing, however, fell from 143 thousand net tons in February to 116 thousand net tons in March. The quantity of Lend/Lease supplies of foodstuffs which have been shipped from the United States to the United Kingdom now exceeds 3 million net tons.
