(Fats) 2. III. LEND/LEASE SUPPLIES. Lend/Lease supplies (of U.S. origin) to the U.K. increased from the low level of 61 thousand net tons in January to 98 thousand net tons in February. Sailings in February, at 143 thousand net tons, were twice as large as in January, IV. LOSSES AT SEA. Losses of food and feedingstuffs at sea in February amounted to 18 thousand tons (2.4% of arrivals plus losses.) They included 7.7 thousand tons of wheat, 3.3 of bacon and ham and 2.4 of tea. V. COMMODITY SUPPLY POSITION.
