In accordance with the decision of the Committee at their meeting on the 5th March (L.P.(43) 14th Meeting, Conclus- ion 1(2)) we have discussed the question whether action should now be taken to extend the provisions of the Determination of Needs Act, 1941, to Public Assistance, and whether this should be done in the same Bill as that dealing with pensions or in a separate Bill.
