(v) When rations for pigs and poultry were further red last September there was much adverse comment fr### farmers and from the general public about the unrestricted use of feeding stuffs for dogs. W### have to face a further reduction in pig and poul### rations next September (see L.P. (43) 42). 3. In our view it is necessary to consider measures to reduce the dog population. Although this is a matter on wh### public opinion is likely to be sensitive, we believe that at present stage of the war a reasonable measure of control woul accepted.
