The county reserves are allocations of protein and of cereal coupons out of which County War Agricultural Executive Committees are authorised to make issues, on proved need, to farmers who require rations for stock such as heifers in calf and breeding ewes, and to those who have grown bread grains or other essential corps at the expense of fodder crops, and have thus deprived them- selves of feeding stuffs for livestock necessary to their farm economy, especially young dairy replacement stock and folded pigs and poultry.
