The consumption of newsprint by newspapers is still over 4,000 tons a week, and the issue is clearly not merely of the effect of an additional consumption by the "Daily Worker" on the general paper supply situation, but raises wider issues. 2. "Labour Monthly" I have also been approached by several M.P.'s with regard to the "Labour Monthly" which claims to be the chief journal of opinion in the Labour Movement. The release of additional paper for this periodical is urged on much the same grounds as are put forward for the "Daily Worker".
