INDUSTRIAL MORALE 1. This report on morale in industry is mainly an appreciation of the attitude of the workpeople in regard to matters which affect them as employed persons. The appreciation is based in the main upon reports from Regional Controllers, Industrial Relations Officers, Labour Supply Inspectors, Employment Exchange Managers, Welfare Officers and Factory Inspectors, all of whom by reason of their official duties are in direct and daily contact with the workpeople. In most cases the reports were the subject of consultation with Regional representatives of the Supply Departments.
