NOTES OF A DEPUTATION RECEIVED BY MR. ATTLEE IN COMMITTEE ROOM 14 AT THE HOUSE OF COMMONS AT 5 O'CLOCK ON WEDNESDAY, 9TH SEPTEMBER, ON THE SUBJECT OF EQUAL COMPENSATION FOR MEN AND WOMEN UNDER THE PERSONAL INJURIES (CIVILIANS) SCHEME. The Minister of Pensions attended with Mr. Attlee. MRS. TATE, M.P. introduced the deputation and said they represented between three and four million women. They demanded that women's war compensation should be equal to that of men, this being right, just, and fair, and in accordance with the will of the country.
