RESTRICTION ON MEALS EATEN IN PUBLIC. Memo. by the Minister of Food.

(II) Limit to 6/- the price that may be charged for any meal, including charge, and coffee or tea, but excluding service or gratuity charge that are handed in total to the staff: if service charges are ent### on the bill and therefore compulsory they shall in no case exceedu### of the cost of the meal. (III) In restaurants where dancing is permitted the price of a meal may increased by 3/6d. so long as at least 4 musicians are employed. Entertainments other than dancing must be given in other rooms the room in which the meal is served.
