This number will be increased as far as possible. Rice Milling. A considerable number of subsidiary processing plants ha### been eliminated. 7 mills are new operating and are bare sufficient to deal with the output required. Further concentration will be applied if necessitated by the sup###y position. Slaughterhouses Since the beginning of the war the number of slaughterho### has been reduced from 16,000 to 705, with 41 more in occasional use.
