MEMORANDUM BY THE MINISTER OF LABOUR AND NATIONAL SERVICE AND THE MINISTER OF WAR TRANSPORT. 1. Under the existing Regulation, double summer time will operate automatically from 3rd May to 8th August. Last year the corresponding dates were 4th May to 9th August. It is generally agreed that last year's arrangement operated without serious inconvenience to any interest, and with very great advantage in many directions.
