###s ###MILK. ###h Producers' ###or Price ty ###ce: ###) ###eting, ###1.) 1. The Committee had before them a Memorandum by the Secretary of State for Scotland (L.P.(42) 201). The Memorandum showed that the pre-war disparity between the returns received by Scottish and English milk producers still continued, although the reasons for it had disappeared. This was causing considerable discontent in Scotland, and it was proposed that the producers' prices in Scotland should be the same as the English middle price.
