(42) 128 - by the Minister of War Transport. L.P. (42) 130 - by the Home Secretary. regarding a proposal the use of limit of 40 for securing further economy in motor tyres by introducing a general speed m.p.h. for private cars. THE MINISTER OF WAR TRANSPORT said that the rubber position was deteriorating and further economies would have to be secured in addition to those approved by the Committee in January last.
