(42) 20) covering a draft of the Report which was to be made to the War Cabinet by the Committee appointed to consider the re- organisation of the coal mining industry. A Memorandum by the Lord President on the Coal production programme for 1942-43 (L.P. (42) 1###8). In the light of the proposals made in the draft Report on the re-organisation of the industry, the Committee resumed their discussion, begun at their meeting on the 26th May, on the coal production programme for the year and the question whether it was necessary to introduce the scheme for the rationing of domestic fuel outlined in Appendix A of L.
