THE MINISTER OF FOOD explained that this Report had been prepared by his Department in consultation with the Treasury, Home Office, and 11th Board of Trade. The main recommendations made, as a result of a comprehensive review of the position, ###ious ###rence: ###(42) ###ing, ###te 2). were as follows: (i) In view of the great change which had taken place in the drinking habits of the people, no case could be made out for the establishment of a Liquor Control Board similar to that appointed during the last war.
