The Schedule of Increased Prices submitted to the War Cabinet by the Lord President of the Council on the 12th February had provided for an increase of 13/4d per gallon in milk prices. The Schedule of Increased Prices finally approved by the War Cabinet had not included a revised figure for milk, and the Minister of Food had put in a reservation on that occasion that there might be a contingent claim for an additional £11/4 millions (i.
