The supply of wagons has been in the main satisfactory when account is taken of the increase in output which has imposed additional strain on the transport system. During November, the average weekly railborne traffic out of South Wales was 149,000 tons compared with 140,000 tons in October. At the same time, coalfield stocks laid down at Collieries and in the Government dumps absorbed 160,000 tons of coal which could not otherwise have been raised.
