2. APPENDIX. Present arrangements for dealing with offers of service by British subjects in British Colonies and in Foreign Countries. (a) Offers of service in the Armed Forces. Men of British nationality resident in the Colonies or in foreign countries who volunteer for service in His Majesty's Forces, may be given free passages to the United Kingdom (or, if more convenient, free passages to any other British Territory) if they are of appropriate age and medical category and come under one or other of the following headings:Volunteers for the Royal Navy.
