Note by the Minister of War Transport. 1. In his minute to the Prime Minister dated 1st December, (see LP(41)203) the Minister of Supply offers to requisition 500 buses which at present are not in use. My returns do not indicate that so many vehicles of serviceable types are available, apart from necessary operational reserves. 2. He also offers to place an order for 500 articulated vehicles at the delivery rate of 50 a month beginning in June next.
