Royal Ordnance Factories to and from their work.* We are ready to place an order for vehicles, being short-truck delivery at the rate of 50 a month beginning in June Next. (Intld.) B. * The operation of the buses will, of course, pass under the authority and control of the Ministry of War Transport. Memorandum by the War Office, On 28th November the Cabinet were discussing the need for improving transport facilities to factories in the remoter parts of the country, and the Prime Minister asked the Service ministers to report what buses they had available, so that a scheme might be devised for the purpose the War Cabinet had in mind.
