NON-TANKER IMPORT PROGRAMME FOR 1942. Report by the Import Executive. WE were asked by the Prime Minister to submit to him a preliminary statement of import requirements for the year 1942. This was submitted to him accordingly, and his reply is attached (Annex A). As directed by the Prime Minister, our proposals are now submitted for the consideration of the Lord President's Committee and the War Cabinet. All the figures in this paper relate to imports in the sense used for the purpose of the 31 million-tons programme for 1941, i.
