The 69,000 men to be withdrawn from the munitions industries are in addition to 130,000 whom the Ministry of Labour had already arranged to withdraw from those industries by the end of this year. Moreover, the munitions industries will themselves require an additional 315,000 men in the year ending June, 1942.
