ECONOMY IN THE USE OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS. Memorandum by the Secretary of State for Air. At the meeting of the Lord President's Committee on the 18th April (L.P. (41) 14th Meeting, Conclusion 2 (21)) I was invited to effect a 10% cut in the amount of motor spirit used by road vehicles under the control of the Royal Air Force. I have issued instructions that all Royal Air Force stations are to aim at a reduction of 10% in their consumption of motor spirit.
