-2- Finally, the Committee recommend that a supervisory body of three persons of business experience should be set up to supervise the carrying out of the plan. The interested Ministers have considered this report and recommend that its main conclusions should be accepted. however, a variation is proposed. It is thought that the board of business persons would be more useful if instead of having merely supervisory functions it were given the responsibility of carrying o### the Scheme. It is proposed, therefore, to appoint a Waste Food Board of three persons to deal on behalf of the Ministry of Supply with all questions relating to the installation of plants and the necessary negotiations with the local authorities.
