-2- decided that it would not to allow the transport be in services the national of the country interest to revert after the war to the unco-ordinated condition in which they were during the years immediately preceding the war. As a step in this direction, it has been decided that, when the present period of control comes to an end after the war, the railways shall not again be operated as separate units but shall continue under unified control. The Preparation of a scheme of unification - including the adjustment of the relations between railway and road transport will be undertaken as time and opportunity offer.
